Martin Fogarty visits Na Magha August 2017
On 2nd August 2017, Na Magha welcomed renowned Coach Martin Fogarty who provided training sessions with u10’s and U14/16’s. Martin met with coaches and parents to discuss essential elements of coaching.

Thanks to Martin for his time. The coaches are already putting the training into practice.

U10 attend Ulster Camogie Blitz
The u10 camogs attended the recent u10 Ulster Camogie Blitz.

U10/12/14 Teambuilding at Ballycastle
Our young camogs attended an underage blitz in Ballycastle, finishing the team building by a visit to the park and beach. Thanks to Ballycastle for their hospitality.

Summer Scheme 2017
The 2017 Summer Scheme was held for 3 days from 10th July to 12th July. Thanks to all our volunteers and players for making this a success.

Clubhouse Opening 4 June 2016
The clubhouse was officially opened on 4 June 2016. A range of games and fun activities were part of the opening event, finishing with a celebration dinner in the City Hotel.

We would like to thank all our players, family and wider supoort network for making this such a momentus day.

A special thanks to all our volunteers who provided their time to ensure the event ran smoothly.

Na Magha Parish League 2017

Parish league continues for the second year new players participating. We would like to thank parents for their support in helping all the children make the transition from school to club.

Na Magha Legacy Project is launched

Legacy Programme 2015

Week 4 not only are the children progressing with their musical ability but they are preparing to participate in the St Patricks day parade.

Week 3 witnesses a continuation of the children practicing but parents enjoying the time to catch up socially with other club members.

Week 2 of the legacy programme was enjoyed by all the young musicians who are settling into their new music groups and learning to play their tin whistle/bodhran.

The programme continues to be documented through the media via NWRC filming progress and tonight a few members were interviewed for BLAS. This will be broadcast over the next week.

Week 1 of the programme was welcomed by all members who signed up to the programme. Local media document the support to the Legacy Programme from funders, Derry City Council, Arts Council and DCAL.

Club house build begins

After many years of development the diggers are on site to build the foundations of the club house. Na Magha would like to thank our main funder, DSD, and also DCAL and Derry City Council for their assistance in enabling this build to proceed.
